ServSafe: How to Obtain Your ServSafe Manager Certification
The ServSafe Manager certification is required for higher-level roles, including supervisory and leadership positions.
Before You Begin
You must first create a ServSafe account.

Important Note
The ServSafe Manager certification may require a proctored exam, depending on your state. Be sure to review your state’s requirements before purchasing.
Step 1: Access the Course
- Log in to www.servsafe.com
- Navigate to the Manager Certification section
- Select ServSafe Manager Course & Exam
- Choose your preferred option (Online or In-Person Exam)
- Complete checkout or enter your code (if provided)
Step 2: Complete the Training
- Access your course through Dashboard / My Courses
- Complete all required training modules
Step 3: Schedule & Take the Exam
- If required, schedule your exam
- Complete the proctored exam (online or in-person, depending on selection)
Step 4: Receive Your Certification
- Once you pass, your certification will be issued
- Processing times may vary depending on exam type
Step 5: Upload to Snapchef
Upload your ServSafe directly through the Snapchef App:
- Log into the app
- Navigate to the Medical Documents section
- Upload your Servsafe to the Manager line
