Medical Requirements for Certain Assignments

 
This article explains the medical documents and vaccinations that may be required to work at specific Snapchef client locations.
Important: These medical requirements are not required to work for Snapchef overall. They are only required for certain client locations, primarily healthcare, senior living, and institutional facilities. If you do not have the required documentation, you may still work other Snapchef assignments.
Why Are Medical Requirements Needed?
Some of the facilities we staff are required by state regulations or internal policies to ensure all on-site workers meet certain health and safety standards. These standards help protect residents, patients, and staff.
 
Commonly Required Medical Documents
Depending on the location, you may be asked to provide one or more of the following:
 
Vaccinations & Immunity Records
  • COVID-19 Vaccination (1 or 2 shots, depending on facility)
  • COVID-19 Booster (if required by the facility)
  • Flu Vaccine (current season)
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) or proof of immunity
  • Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis – within 10 years)
  • Hepatitis B (or signed waiver)
  • Varicella (Chickenpox – positive immunity, valid for 20 years)
Tuberculosis (TB) Screening
  • TB-PPD test (valid for 1 year)
  • TB Assessment Form
  • TB Gold Test (if applicable)

If a location requires medical clearance, Snapchef Operations will notify you and let you know exactly what documents are needed for that assignment.
You are never required to obtain medical documents unless you want to work at those specific locations.

Once you have your medical documents, please send them directly to the Snapchef Operations team at operations@snapchef.com.
Our team will review your documents and notify you once they have been approved.
