Health Insurance Eligibility (Hourly Employees)

Snapchef offers health insurance benefits to eligible non-exempt (hourly) employees in accordance with federal guidelines.
 
Who May Qualify?
Hourly employees may become eligible for medical insurance if they:
  • Average more than 30 hours per week
  • Over a 12-month measurement period
 
How It Works
 
Measurement Period
Employees must average over 30 hours per week during a 12-month review period to become eligible.
 
Administrative Period
Once eligibility is met, there is a 60-day administrative period to process enrollment.
 
Coverage Effective Date
Insurance becomes active on the first day of the month following the administrative period.
 
Stability Period
If deemed eligible, coverage continues for a period equal to the original 12-month measurement period, regardless of fluctuations in weekly hours during that time.
After the stability period ends, the measurement cycle resets.
 
Important Notes
  • Eligibility is determined based on actual hours worked.
  • The Company reserves the right to modify or terminate benefit plans at any time.
