Enabling Location Services for Clock In/Out
To use the SnapChef app’s clock in/out feature, Location Services must be turned ON. If your location is off, you will not be able to punch in or out of your shift.
For iPhone (iOS):
Open Settings
Scroll down and tap Privacy & Security
Tap Location Services
Make sure Location Services is turned ON
Scroll down and select the SnapChef App
Select “While Using the App” or “Always”
Make sure Precise Location is turned ON
For Android:
Open Settings
Tap Location
Make sure Location is turned ON
Tap App Location Permissions (or “Location Services” depending on device)
Find and select the SnapChef App
Choose “Allow only while using the app” or “Allow all the time”
Turn on Use Precise Location (if available)
Important Reminder:
You must be physically on-site with location enabled to clock in/out
If the location is off, the app will not allow you to punch in
Please check your settings before your shift to avoid delays
